Job Duties: The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: supervision, management, security patrols, access control, security related personnel escort duties, traffic, parking control, law and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum 21 years of age;
H.S. Diploma or GED;
Associate's degree preferred;
Valid driver's license;
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a certified Armed Security Officer;
Demonstrated experience in certified law enforcement OR minimum of two (2) years experience as a Supervisor or Officer in the commerical/industrial security sector with one company under one contract is required;
Demonstrated experience managing twenty (20) or more persons in a structured work environment;
Successfully completed a local, state, federal or military Law Enforcement Academy Curriculum;
Read, speak and understand English language fluently; and
Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
Successfully pass an employment physical;
Successfully pass criminal, credit, and driving record checks;
Must be able to pass all training and obtain required certifications to include CPR, First Aid, and AED;
Must be able to obtain and maintain a VA Armed DCJS Security Registration;
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance;
Must be approved by the client to work at the site.
